Wendell Pierce, Head Professional

Since he began teaching at the Chabot Canyon Racquet Club  in 1988, head pro Wendell Pierce has built a solid reputation as an instructor and a player.

In addition to teaching, Wendell has continued to compete, reaching the USTA National Mens 45 #1 ranking in 2000, and being voted the USPTA's Northern California Senior Player of the Year two years running, in 2003 and 2004.

Located in the Rockridge area of Oakland, the club is a non profit organization owned and operated by its members. Because the members of the club believe in fair and healthy competition, it is a member of the USTA and many of its professional organizations.  The club and its members are committed to providing a venue for the lifelong pursuit of excellent physical and mental health conditioning.
